in a mood that just cries out for some Manchester Orchestra- it’s always nice to know somebody has thought the same way or felt the same things as you. it’s sad because it’s such a distant human understanding, but it’s relatively consoling. andy hull is the man. chicca chicca yeah.
Manchester Orchestra- I Was A Lid
Easily my favourite MO song. The bridge is phenomenal, it’s on repeat.
Anonymous asked: really enjoyed you on saturday night
thanks, it was a good night, Cherie was excellent..
Mississippi John Hurt- Stack O’Lee
Surprisingly I think Bombay Bicycle Club fans will love this. His simple vocal melodies and their compressed range sound a lot like some of the acoustic stuff BBC have done in the past.
Akron Family- River
Vampire Weekend lovers check this out, has the same nonchalant vocal style. Maps and Atlases fans should like the instrumentation, it’s nowhere near as frantic, but definitely still nice.
